We have a small but dedicated team of volunteers who use their own cars to transport patients to hospital appointments, upon referral to the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS). Patients must be from the following postcodes: DG2, DG5, DG6, and DG7. We can provide transport to Dumfries, Stranraer, Ayr, Glasgow, and Edinburgh hospitals. We require a week’s notice, and where possible, we operate this service only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. In all instances, patients must first contact the SAS on 0300 123 1236.
